The Ready-to-Use rig of VERTIS Wide Gape is made with a hook type "Eagle Claw" - a rounded wide shape and a slightly curved blade, which makes it ideal for fishing for large carp. Hook: The thick and laterally forged wire from which it is made guarantees resistance to opening even in large fish. The chemically sharpened blade and Teflon coating create minimal friction and make penetration even safer and faster. Braid: The fiber used in the assembly is braided and has a higher hardness than standard fiber. This positions the hook correctly when biting, as well as protects the assembly from entanglement. High abrasion resistance and camouflage green color increase the chances of success.
